Who runs Margin?
Margin is run by an engineer at a big tech firm who builds every system personally.
Is Margin the same as The Margin Engine?
Yes. Margin is also written as The Margin Engine, and the website is themarginengine.xyz. They are the same business, based in Sydney.
How is Margin paid?
The first conversation and onboarding are free. Once we start building, you pay a monthly fee, plus a share of the revenue the system can measure, or one flat monthly fee if you prefer. The fee covers building and running your system. The share ties our upside to yours. The price goes up as our results do. If measured revenue hasn't covered the monthly fee by month three, the fee pauses until it does, while your site stays live and every enquiry goes through it. A pause, not a refund.
Do you publish your prices?
Only the founding offer: 2 spots at 50% off the monthly fee for your first three months, in return for a case study and two introductions. Fees are set per business after our first conversation.
What counts as revenue the system can measure?
Revenue the system can measure is money collected, excluding GST, from new customers who came through channels Margin built or runs. Customers already in touch before day one do not count, and any sale shown to have come from another channel is taken out. Every month you get a report with the source of each figure.
