Marketing and sales

A website that catches the enquiry, not just the visit

We build your website and join it to the system behind it. Each enquiry lands in your CRM with where it came from, shows up in your team chat as it arrives, and the customer gets a reply in seconds.

What you get

  • Websites that turn visits into enquiries
  • SEO, and visibility in AI search (GEO)
  • Your Google Business Profile, run as a shop front

What a website is for

Most websites are sold on price and how fast they go up. Few builders say what the site did for the business, because once the form is sent, nobody follows the enquiry.

Goldenwood is a Sydney furniture maker, and we built its first website. In April 2026, with the owner running his own Google Ads to the first site we built for him, online revenue that month was about 6× the seven months before combined, by the owner's own count. This was before the current system existed. The owner's ads brought the traffic and the site caught it. It proved people want what he makes.

What that site could not do was everything after the enquiry. Nothing recorded which ad, search or answer sent each one, nothing joined an enquiry to a sale, and enquiries often waited overnight. So we rebuilt it around the enquiry and moved the real domain onto it. Then it showed something no visitor count would. The first order through the new system came from a ChatGPT answer, not an ad.

How we build it

If you already have a site, every old address keeps working. Each one opens the matching page on the new site, so links people saved and the rankings Google gave you carry over. The tracking on your ad links survives the move too.

The enquiry form asks for what your buyers actually have, like a photo of the job or piece they want. When it is sent, it goes into your CRM with where it came from: the ad, the search, your Google Business Profile or the AI assistant. It shows up in your team chat at once, and the customer gets an acknowledgement in seconds. If the CRM is slow to answer, the enquiry waits and is written later, so none is lost.

Each page states plainly who you are, what you make and where, so Google and AI assistants can read it. The main pages answer the buyer's questions first. You check every claim before it goes live, and each change is checked by a second person before it ships.

Who this suits

An owner-run business whose jobs are worth chasing: a trade, a shopfitter, a maker like Goldenwood. You want more of the right enquiries, and you want to know which of them became work.

Word of mouth is not a reason to skip it. Goldenwood's work brings customers back years later, and its best month still came when the site and the ads let new buyers in. Your part is the facts about your business, photos of real work, and checking what the site says.

Who it does not suit

If you want a one-page brochure up this week, a template builder is faster and cheaper. If nobody can answer an enquiry the same day, a better site mostly collects enquiries that go cold.

And if you want the code handed over on day one to run it yourself, hire a builder who hands over the files. With us your domain, words, photos and enquiries are yours, and the build behind them stays ours while we run it for you.

Running at Goldenwood

We rebuilt the storefront on Next.js and moved the real domain onto it on 10 September. Every address from the old site still opens a working page, so links and search rankings carried over. All 146 catalogue pieces carry the maker's own timbers, categories and descriptions, and each restyled photo was checked side by side against the maker's original. Customers can attach a photo of the piece they want, because that is how most of them ask.

How you pay

The first conversation and onboarding are free. Once we start building, you pay a monthly fee, plus a share of the revenue the system can measure, or one flat monthly fee if you prefer. Fees are set per business after our first conversation.

If measured revenue hasn't covered the monthly fee by month three, the fee pauses until it does, while your site stays live and every enquiry goes through it. A pause, not a refund.

Founding offer: 2 spots at 50% off the monthly fee for your first three months, in return for a case study and two introductions.

Frequently asked questions

Who owns the domain and the site if we stop working together?

The domain is yours, in your own account, and so are the words, photos and every enquiry. The code, page design and tracking behind the site are ours, and you use them while we work together. If we stop, the site stays live through a handover period, you get your data and full control of your accounts, and we agree whether the build moves to you.

What happens to my existing site and its Google rankings?

We map every address on your old site to the matching page on the new one, so saved links and the rankings Google gave you carry over. At Goldenwood every address from the old site still opens a working page. Rankings can still dip for a few weeks after any move, and we watch them in your dashboard.

Will my site show up on Google and in AI answers?

We build it so it can: each page says plainly who you are, what you do and where, and AI search tools are allowed to read it. Showing up is earned over months, and we check it every month. On 25 Sep 2026, ChatGPT named it in 2 of the 12 buying questions we check. The first order through the new system came from a ChatGPT answer, not an ad. The site didn't win that answer, but it was ready when the buyer arrived.

Can I update the site myself after it is live?

You change the facts, we publish them. At Goldenwood the owner corrects his catalogue in a shared table, and his changes go onto the site. Anything else you send to us, and each change is checked before it goes live, so an edit never breaks the enquiry form or the tracking.

What do I need to give you to get started?

Access to your domain, the facts about your business, and photos of real work. Then you check what the site says before it goes live: you confirm, correct or strike each claim. We write the pages, prepare the photos and set up the tracking.

My work comes from word of mouth. Is a better website worth it?

Often, yes. People who hear your name usually look you up before they call, and a site that answers their questions turns that look into an enquiry. Goldenwood gets repeat and referred work too. In April 2026, with the owner running his own Google Ads to the first site we built for him, online revenue that month was about 6× the seven months before combined, by the owner's own count. This was before the current system existed. If you are already turning work away, it can wait.
